Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
• Describe the Joint Commission’s standards and survey methods development processes.
• Explain the structure and content of the new Infection Control standards and elements of performance.
• Review frequently scored and high-risk Infection Control observations.
• Understand the scoring process for sterile compounding non-compliance.
• Verbalize the concepts of manner and degree in determining level of deficiency.
